Our Rooms
Under 2's Room
Here we welcome babies from 3 months until approximately 18 months, depending on each child's individual development. In the under 2's room, children will experience lots of messy play and sensory play to help stimulate and encourage your children's development and curiosity to learn new things. and develop language through songs and rhymes. All children have an online Learning Journal that you can see their daily activities and contribute towards their learning along with daily diary detaining your child's meals and daily care routine.
Toddler Room
Your child will move from the under two's room through into the toddler room at approximately 18 months of age. Again dependant on the individual child's’ development. This room is set out with lots of different areas to explore, such as role play/home corner, story area, messy play area (including sand, water and paint), construction, mark making and heuristic play. The children are free to choose where they would like to play both indoors and outdoors with our free flow out door play area. The environment is based around continuous provision so children will have lots of free choice on what they want to play with, activities are linked in to children's interest and next steps.
Pre-School Room
Children move to the pre-school room the term they turn 3 years old, in here we will continue to nurture the children’s independence and start gentle preparation for school and schools nursery. We will help our children to become confident learners, happy and ready to take the next big step.
